Successful marketing using viral marketing
Viral Marketing is all about giving away your own free product or service along with your ad copy (contact information, link, email, etc.). In turn, recipients of your free product are allowed to pass it along to their own clients, prospects, visitors and others as a freebie. This is a quick way to multiple your marketing at no extra expense and without extra effort on your part. Here are some popular viral marketing techniques to follow: 1. Ebooks – Share your no cost ebook with your website visitors. Include a nice full-color ad for your most popular product line with links to your website and email. Tell recipients to share copies of the ebook with their own site visitors and other contacts. 2. Software - Share a trial or “lite” version of your software with your website visitors as a freebie. Don’t forget to include that ad for your most popular product line with links to your website and email. And tell recipients to share copies of the software with their own site visitors and other contacts. For help creating software, hire help from online bid sites like Elance. 3. Web Host – Offer to host small business web sites on your server at no charge. In exchange, place your own banner ad at the top of the site for viral marketing. You can setup a fold for their site and they can choose their own domain name and have it redirected to that folder. 4. Templates – Design your own website or other templates, include your own marketing information on them and give them away as free downloads or as an electronic package. Grant permission for recipients to pass them along. 5. Articles – Write articles about your industry. Include your website and contact information in the byline and grant permission for others to publish as long as they keep the byline in tact. Then people can use your contact on websites, in ezines, newsletters and other places where once again, viral marketing will speed the spread of information about your business. 6. Discussion Board - Set up a Discussion Board on your website with your banner ad attached at the top. And invite others to link to it and use it for their own sites. In summary, by using viral marketing strategies, you can reach out all over the Internet with much less effort. See which methods work best for you and repeat them as often as needed.

Myspace marketing
With the ever-growing popularity of internet social groups, MySpace has become the leader. MySpace has become so popular; it has spawned a whole market of new business opportunity through marketing and advertising. No other website in the world allows one person the ability to communicate with millions of people with the click of a button. This has allowed e-commerce a new channel of communication with potential customers. Now most people wouldn't look at MySpace from a business perspective, but e-businesses and artists realize that MySpace is a goldmine of business opportunity. MySpace is the internet's largest un-tapped marketing resource. 75 million plus users, 15 million daily unique logins, 240,000 new users per day, and nearly 30 billion monthly page views - that’s 10,593 page views per second. This is a network where the majority of people don't even see the marketing value. MySpace has been continually evolving, changing with the wants and needs of its users. They have given Musicians and Bands the ability to share their music and group information with millions of other people, giving them an opportunity to expand like never before. Since MySpace has implemented the MySpace Music area of it's social network, different genres of music are increasing popularity like never before, and artists are finding new and unique ways to communicate with potential and current fans. Using this network as a marketing tool can be more complex than most people realize. There are many rules and regulations that MySpace has implemented, that if you don't follow, you can find your profile deleted very quickly. They do not allow spamming in any form. This means, you cannot setup a profile to mainly do business. MySpace is built around the casual users, so you have to disguise yourself as one. The goal is to look like a casual user, with much to offer to other users, and have TONS of friends. The best way to reach everyone is through group bulletins. These bulletins will go out to everyone on your friends list with one message. Just like a mass e-mail. But again, do not make these seem like an advertisement, of you will find your friends reporting you to the MySpace authorities very quickly. There are tons of other tips and tricks to utilize the MySpace market to it's fullest. Take my advice, and do some research. There are tons of articles and blogs on the topic of MySpace marketing such as MySpace Trends. Blogs like these contain so much information on promoting your e-business or music through MySpace.

For homebuyers pictures tell a thousand words
Homebuyers are using the Internet as their primary means to search for homes. How have real estate agents responded? By providing low quality photography of the houses they are selling. Wrong! Realtors still don't seem to understand that marketing a home properly always includes first rate photography. High quality digital photography should be a major component of every real estate agent’s marketing efforts. An agent’s goal in photo marketing is to provide a quality collection of photos showing home exteriors and interiors for both buyers and sellers. These photos are used for listing presentations, flyers, emails, multiple listing services and agent web sites. There are many excellent cameras on the market. It's important to choose one that takes quality photos in almost any kind of interior lighting. Visit a quality photography store and talk with a knowledgeable salesperson. At a minimum, the camera must take wide-angle photos and work with an external flash or "slave flash." Another useful accessory is an easily adjusted tripod. Once you have purchased your camera, here are a few simple tips to get you started: • Wide-angle, wide-angle, wide-angle. Use a wide-angle lens. For most interiors, you'll want to take in the largest possible area of the room. • Decide what part of the room is most interesting from a visual standpoint and make that your focus. You want to photograph the most appealing areas of the room and compose your photo so that these key areas are emphasized in your photograph. • Eliminate excessive clutter. A famous photographer observed that photography is "ten percent creativity and ninety percent moving furniture." • Keep vertical lines vertical. It confuses your viewer when vertical lines are tilted. Also try to keep horizontal lines parallel to the top and bottom of the frame. Finally, keep your camera level and don't tilt it up or down. The main problem in indoor photography is lighting. The built-in flash of the digital cameras simply isn't bright enough light up an entire room. However, there is an easy solution called a "slave flash." A slave flash has an electric eye that senses when your built-in flash fires, and then the slave flash fires at the same time. These flash units are usually battery powered, and run from about $75 up depending on the brightness and features. You can find them at your local camera store, or do a search on the Web for "slave flash" and "digital camera." Another potential problem is the red-eye reduction feature. You'll either need to turn this feature off or purchase a flash unit that can work with it. Some of the slave flash units are designed specifically to work with cameras having red-eye reduction and will fire at the right time, but it's usually easier to turn the feature off on the camera. There are a number of other things that you can do to improve the lighting of your indoor photography. Turn on all of the lights in the room. A low cost solution that you may want to consider is buying one or two clamp-on flood light units from a home improvement store and bouncing their light off the ceiling in darker rooms. Be sure to open all curtains to allow as much natural lighting as possible, but try to avoid shooting directly into a window where glare may overexpose your photograph. After you have taken your photos, a mistake often made by agents is sending photos to clients via email that, in terms of file size, are much larger than need be. Your client is not going to be happy if they use a modem to connect to the internet and you send them twenty megabytes of photos! There is an easy solution to this problem. Microsoft has a free program named Image Resizer that is included in PowerToys for Windows XP. Image Resizer enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click and reduce the file size to one tenth its original size and still provide an excellent image. You may download this program by going to the Microsoft download web site at: microsoft/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys. mspx Rather than send photos directly to clients, you may also choose a photo sharing service like Shutterfy to create an online album. To share photos, go to Shutterfly and open an account. The various screens will guide you through uploading your pictures to its web site. Then you can send an email to your client with a link to the online Shutterfly album. If you follow these simple suggestions, you'll be amazed at how much improvement you'll see in your interior photos. A well-taken picture is worth a thousand words.

3 Reasons you should attend seminars
If you have never gone to an online marketing seminar, you're missing out. I know what you're thinking... "Seminars are expensive." That's true. They are. Some of 'em cost over $5,000. Even the lower-priced parties are around $2,000. "It's a pain in the butt to attend." Again, that's fair. In order to go, you have to get on a plane and fly somewhere. And you have to take time from your work and family to do it. But, there are at least 3 reasons that attending seminars should be on your priority list (even if you DON'T plan to do a major product launch). 1. You Are Surrounded By Like-minded People. Scoff if you want. But, I'm telling you, there's huge POWER in being around folks who are driven to the same goal as you are. To this day, my friends and family don't really get what I do. They nod their heads and smile, but I can tell their eyes are glazing over. Well, picture being at a party with a few hundred people who not only know what you do... they do it, too! You'll be amazed at how inspiring that can be. 2. You Meet People Who Inspire And Drive You. I know it sounds flighty. But, when you're downing drinks with someone and sharing strategies back and forth about what's working, your mind ignites. You find yourself wishing you'd brought your laptop so you can start taking action that moment! And here's something better... you exchange phone numbers (yep, remember that thing you used to use before becoming a recluse?) and follow up with each other. That's accountability, baby and it can drive you to major success. 3. You Remove Yourself From The Daily Routine. Ever wake up and have trouble getting your engine started? (I'm not talking about your car here.) And if you ever DO get the thing to turn over, you can't seem to get any speed? It happens to me all the time. I'll wake up and the day will pass without my having done one truly productive thing! It stinks. I'll tell you why it happens to me... I get bored of my routine! Now, don't get me wrong. Routines are good. In fact, they're CRITICAL to your success. Humans need routine. But, it's JUST as important to get OUT of your routine. And going to a seminar does that for you. It makes you leave your boring daily routine behind. Going to a seminar can give your brain (and motivation) the jump-start it needs. Last Thoughts I'm not trying to sell you on a seminar here. I'm only trying to get you to think about going to one. There are a lot of benefits to going. Benefits that aren't always clear until you're there, in the hallways, in the bars, at lunch... talking with folks who are doing EXACTLY what you are doing. It's empowering. It's inspiring. And chances are, one you attend a seminar, you'll be excited to go to another.
